The optional power supply system provides four power supply options. In any case, the machine will provide appropriate power supply. Check whether the power supply parameters meet the requirements of the cushion system given in the specification. If the or power supply is used, it must be isolated from the main power supply according to international electrical safety practices. One pole shall be grounded to the negative pole of the DC power supply. If special arrangements must be made, commercial devices suitable for the system can be provided at any time. Auxiliary Output This is a non safe output provided as a status output. It is particularly useful in systems that use functional machine controls and hardwired safety circuits as state inputs. Other uses include diagnostic protection schemes and or driving status lights or alarms. The safety function must not depend on this output. Arc suppression It is recommended that all inductive loads use an arc suppression network or device. For safety, circuit suppressors should be installed on the load, not on the contacts. The type and rating of suppressors will be determined by the power supply and load characteristics. Note that the suppressor can increase the response time, especially the suppressor diodes at both ends of the DC coil, and should be installed in place when measuring the response time. Control unit safety output power to control unit execution force time response time Control unit safety input power to control unit reset execution force time response time Contactor monitoring contactor monitoring is provided through two terminals marked with. It is applied to all dual channel and dual contactor systems. If one of the contactors fails to isolate the power supply, the pad control unit will lock and prevent the other contactor from re energizing until the fault is corrected. With these factors in mind, the final sensor pad layout can now be checked and finalized. Consider whether the machine response time is different from the initial calculation. Where possible, mats and wires shall be provided at the outer edge of the detection area. This simplifies installation and replacement if required, and all wiring is protected by the surrounding trim. Wiring All system wiring must be protected from mechanical damage and properly sealed to suit the operating environment. Waterproof butt joints shall be provided for the connection of mat to mat, and shall be protected by edge trimming. If wiring is required on the floor, conductor conduit can provide proper protection. Conduit or trunking shall be used for other wire routes. The sealing integrity of the control unit must be maintained by using conduit fittings or cable glands of correct size and fastening. Wiring practices must meet the requirements of clause. Note In order to ensure the isolation of the power supply, the input power supply must be wired separately and enter the control unit through a separate fitting or gland for the output wiring.
